See the BMW iX1 Art Car for a limited time

We have an exciting moment in motoring history on display in The Colombo right now.

100% pure electric power!

Until July 7, you can see the Philip Trusttum BMW iX1 Art Car inside the retail precinct.

With a charge range of 440 km and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, this is BMW sport driving for the EV age.

BMW has a strong history of Art Car collaborations including the Andy Warhol BMW M1 1979 and the Jeff Coons BMW M3 GT2 2010.

Philip Trusttum has always had a fascination with cars, with his early paintings of sports cars securing him a place at the University of Canterbury Art School. It is fitting that his works now adorn  Aotearoa’s newest BMW Art Car.

This car is supplied by Christchurch BMW, 104 Moorhouse Ave.

This is part of the Philip Trusttum Art Takeover. See exhibition website for more information: dmcart.net/trusttum-takeover
